Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day to all the women who've mastered the art of 'labor' both at work and at home!

When I reflect on Labor Day, my thoughts transport me to the cherished memories of my childhood spent at my grandparents' house on Whitmore Lake in Michigan. We used to make the journey from northern Michigan down to visit my grandparents, along with my aunt and uncle. One of the most special moments during those visits was spending the morning by the lake with my dad, attempting to fish.

My dad would patiently prepare the hook with a worm, and then I would eagerly cast my line into the water. In a matter of minutes, I'd either find myself losing a fish, successfully catching one, or needing a fresh worm because there was no way I was going to handle baiting my own hook.

Now, as I embark on a journey helping families create precious little ones, I'm filled with excitement at the thought of them experiencing moments and creating memories just like these on holidays.
